Our feelings are locked into place by our resistance to them. We resist our feelings by fixing, analyzing, intellectualizing, and laying blame on others.
As long as we're engaged in these activities, we distract ourselves from doing what we really need to do in order to finally change how we feel. The moment we stop fixing, analyzing, and blaming, we stop resisting.
And the moment the resistance is dropped, we are free to change. REALLY change.
When you learn to love yourself, you actually learn to stop resisting your feelings.
You learn how to accept yourself for who you really are, without excuses or mental manipulations.
But knowing HOW to do this has been the biggest challenge for most.
Katie and Gay Hendricks have developed the Learning to Love Yourself Advanced Program.
